BOUCHEROUITE N° BSTH
This artful Boucherouite shows distinctive characteristics of a certain type of Rehamna rugs. These were typically composed of an abstract composition knotted in wool, either with geometric, amorphous or free floating motifs on an open red field. Here in turn, the motifs are on a blue field using recycled textiles. This more contemporary version draws from a older pattern language implemented by arabized Berber tribes that settled in the plains of Haouz.
